As part of a special project, each student in Mr. Winnick’s second grade class at Cantiague Elementary School in Jericho has selected a favorite book from the first half of the and designed an illustrative book cover.
As a follow up to the design, each child created a brief video clip explaining why the book was a favorite. The videos were then assigned QR codes that were attached to the book covers. Each day an additional book cover has been added to the hallway display and Cantiague staff and students had the opportunity to check them out.
