Obituary: Rose Doyno

Rose Doyno died on Feb. 27, 2015, at 99 years of age. A resident of Bayville for more than 50 years, Rose was born in Harlem Hospital on April 15, 1915. Predeceased by husband Benny and sons Kenny and Les. Loving grandmother of granddaughter Kim and grandson Kenny (Keri), and three great-grandchildren, all of California. Rose was a dedicated volunteer at Mrs. Jones Attic Thrift Shop in Bayville for seven years. A special thank you to those staff members at the Marquis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Glen Cove who welcomed her and cared for her with compassion and love.
