The Moreano World Medical Mission recently held a fundraiser at the Davenport Press in Mineola. This Nassau County based charity, led by founder and Director Dr. Edwin Moreano of Bayville, provides pro-bono cleft lip/cleft palette and other life changing surgeries to underprivileged children in Latin and Central America.
The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick on Long Island sponsored the event, which raised money for medical and surgical supplies for the charity’s 20th mission which headed to the Dominican Republic this month.
