Nassau County police is still searching for a man in connection with a Mineola bank robbery on Saturday, March 28 at 10:58 a.m.
According to robbery squad detectives, a black male, between 6-feet-and 6-foot-2 inches tall, wearing a gray jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, black mask and dark pants armed with a black handgun entered Bethpage Federal Credit Union on Jericho Turnpike and demanded money. After obtaining the cash, the subject fled the bank on foot west on Jericho Turnpike then east on Washington Avenue, police said.
During the incident there were five employees and four customers present. No injuries were reported.
