There is plenty of Grade A quality meat to be had at Ceriello Foods in Williston Park. Now the store, which offers unique and homemade delicacies and imported specialties, will be offering up the American classic favorite, hamburgers and French fries right next door when they open their second location.
“Our hamburgers will be made of the same quality ground beef that we offer to our customers every day,” said store owner, Andy Ceriello. “We will have our softer beef which is made at the store the same day unlike other burger joints where they have three or four day old burger meat.”
Ceriello decided to open up the burger spot to utilize the empty store next to his main store at 541 Willis Ave. The new location comprises up to 350 square feet of space according to Ceriello.
“We had our grand opening on Friday (March 27) and we will be selling hot off the press Panini sandwiches, sirloins, short ribs as well as the hamburger and French fries,” said Ceriello.
Ceriello has been in the meat business since 1973, selling premium ground beef and fine Italian food. He is most famous for his dry cured sopressata and pancetta salami specialties, sausage menu and authentically flavored tomato sauces. He owns stores on the Island and New York City, New Jersey and Maryland.
Ceriello Foods is a family owned business with Andy’s wife, Nancy and his daughter Tina involved in the day to day operations of the stores.
“Our family has been involved in this business for over thirty five years and we felt that we could cater to some of our customers by opening the section of our store for hamburgers and paninis,” said Ceriello’s daughter, Tina. “So far we’ve had a pretty good reception.”
Ceriello Foods is open from Monday to Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
