Yoga Classes
Mondays May 4, 11 at from 7 to 8:15 p.m. Robert Crowe will introduce you to the beneficial practices that help you relax, meditate and reach optimum health.

Wolfgang’s Revenge
Saturday, May 9 at 2 p.m. Wolfgang’s Revenge is a Quartet of World Class Instrumentalists playing flute, mandolin, acoustic bass and guitar. Enjoy an exciting afternoon—hear unique and original compositions that fuse elements of various jazz forms, Latin and Caribbean music, and southern U.S. fiddle traditions.

Volunteer Fair
Saturday, May 16 from noon to 3 p.m. For adults and teens in Grades 8-12. Discover local volunteering opportunities and connect with a variety of organizations that are looking for volunteers.

Chi Kung (Qigong) Meditation
Tuesday, May 26 from 11 a.m. to noon. Chi Kung is recognized worldwide as a foundation of healing—physically mentally, emotionally and spiritually—easy to learn, always enjoyable.

The ABCs Of Medicare
Friday, May 29 at 1 p.m. Join Carol Kaplowitz for her up-to-date coverage on the ABCs of Medicare.

Defensive Driving Course
Saturday, May 30 at 10:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Empire Safety Council’s course is open to individuals of all ages. A check in the amount of $27 payable to Empire Safety Council is required at registration. Registration will begin at the Reference Desk on Monday, May 4. Forty participants may attend the course.

Children’s Programs

1-2-3 Have Fun With Me
Tuesdays: April May 5, 12 from 10:45 a.m. to noon. Ages 1-4 years (with caregiver) may sign up—sign up is for all sessions. Siblings 0-5 years are welcome with registered child. This series features toys, art activities, and one-on-one contact with early childhood specialists in the areas of early literacy, child development, speech and language, nutrition, and play.

Baby Lapsit
Wednesdays, May 6, 13, 20, 27, June 3 at 11 a.m. Ages four months to one year with caregiver may sign up. Find out how simple activities enhance early literacy skills at this fun program.

Wild in Your Backyard
Monday, May 11 at 4:30 p.m. All Ages may sign up to attend. The Tackapausha Museum and Preserve will provide children with the opportunity to meet some interesting creatures that share our backyard.

Get Groovy With Pete The Cat
Wednesday, May 20 at 4:30 p.m. Ages 2 and up may sign up to attend. Join for some “Pete the Cat” stories, make an edible Pete, and have fun doing groovy activities!

Babysitting & First Aid Training Course
Thursday, May 28 from 4 to 6 p.m. Grades 5-12 may sign up to attend. If you would like to earn money by babysitting or being a Mother’s Helper during the summer, then join a babysitting program of first aid basics with Ilda Catuogno, M.S., an American Red Cross and American Heart Association certified instructor. You will receive a certificate of completion.
