Lacrosse_052015AWhen Roslyn native Allison Schneider accepted a scholarship to attend Adelphi University, she knew she was signing on to one of the nation’s top girls’ lacrosse programs. Adelphi topped Lock Haven 5-4 in overtime to win the 2014-15 NCAA national championship. Adelphi advanced to the finals with a 10-6 victory over Stonehill College in a home game in Garden City. In a win over Philadelphia University, Schneider had two assists. She scored a goal in a win over Franklin Pierce and had another assist in the win over American International. Here she is pictured with the national champion trophy.
