Monika Dharia is a valuable member of the varsity softball team. She is an exemplary student who approaches her academics with the same passion and focus she shows on the field.
Besides being the valedictorian of her class, Dharia’s achievements include being a National Merit Commended Student, AP Scholar with Distinction, Science Honor Society treasurer, National Honor Society co-president, scholar athlete for basketball, Intel Semifinalist and second place at the Long Island science and engineering fair research competition.
Dharia also received the Fairfield University Book Award and the Girl Scout Gold Award. Dharia will be attending Duke University in the fall where she will be pursuing a degree in environmental engineering and economics.
