Here are more photos from the Albertson VFW Post 5253 Memorial Day Observation and parade held on Monday, May 25. Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth asked for residents and veterans to join her in taking pause to remember America’s fallen heroes. Also in attendance was Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel; North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth; Town Clerk Wayne Wink; Receiver of Taxes Charles Berman; Councilmembers Peter Zuckerman and Dina De Giorgio and New York State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli. The VFW, Albertson Fire Department, Herricks High School Band, and local residents all paid tribute to the nation’s veterans.
