Junior guard Chris Dorgler, of Floral Park, recently represented The College of Saint Rose men’s basketball team for the Northeast-10 Conference Academic All-Conference for the winter season in Mansfield, MA. The honor recognizes those individuals that have distinguished themselves with superior athletic and academic achievement.
Dorgler, who was named to the 2013-14 NABC Honors Court in recognition of academic excellence, was the Golden Knights top scorer and assists leader this past season when he averaged 11.6 points and 4.2 assists, to go along with 5.4 rebounds per-game.
The NE-10 Academic All-Conference teams are chosen by a committee vote of Faculty Athletic Representatives (FARs) and other athletics administrators. Dorgler is a graduate of Archbishop Molloy.
