Clams On The Cove Is Historic

The Oyster Bay Historical Society’s second annual Clams on The Cove fundraiser party took place on Friday, June 5, this year at the home of Marie Claire and Milicent Pittis of Cove Neck. Their gracious home on Oyster Bay Harbor is the perfect place to enjoy seafood.

Partygoers feasted on shrimp, clams, oysters and mussels prepared by Tommy Clams Catering; they rocked to the band Sweet Suzi & Suga Fixx and enjoyed drafts of the Oyster Bay Brewing Company’s Summer Ale.

“We’re grateful for all of our supporters,” said the society’s executive director, Philip Blocklyn. “The weather looked bad all week, but we didn’t let the sun catch us crying.”

Attendee Tom Thornton was overheard saying that it was a great party and he planned to attend every year. Keep your calendars open for next year’s bash on June 3, 2016.
