Nassau County police are searching for a man involved in a stabbing outside a Mineola Boulevard Bar on Saturday morning. According to police, a 25-year-old male was leaving the Madeira Cafe with his girlfriend when a unknown male subject made a rude comment towards the girlfriend at 12:30 a.m.
A shoving match ensued resulting in the victim being stabbed in the side by an unknown sharp object, police said. The subject fled the scene on foot southbound on Mineola Boulevard. The subject is described as a male hispanic, wearing a red shirt. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening injury.
