The Seventh Squad reports the details of three arrests for Attempted Burglary that occurred on Friday, June 26 at 4:10 a.m. in Massapequa.
According to detectives, a witness observed Darryl Bogan, 25, of Amityville, Aron Ortiz, 16, of Copiague and Michael Meredith, 17, of Copiague attempt to gain entry into the T- Mobile Store located at 999 Carmans Road by throwing a rock thru the front window then fleeing on foot. Seventh Precinct officers located the subjects a short distance from the scene and placed them under arrest without incident.
No injuries were reported.
Bogan, Ortiz and Meredith are each being charged with Burglary 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree and Possession Burglary Tools. All three defendants were arraigned on Saturday, June 27 in First District Court, Hempstead.
