Saturday, July 4
The Stewart Manor Fire Department’s annual 4th of July parade (and water battle) will be held on Saturday, July 4, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Participating fire departments will parade through the streets of Stewart Manor with a barbecue in the municipal lot near the firehouse afterward.
Monday, July 6
Calvary Full Gospel Fellowship will host vacation bible school from Monday, July 6, through Friday, July 10, from 9:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the church, corner of Plainfield and Magnolia avenues. Bible school for ages 4-12, free. Call 718-381-4691 for details.

The Hambones will perform on July 10 at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Park (Tulip and Plainfield avenues), featuring classic rock and country music. Bring your own chair or blanket. Rain or shine.
