Roslyn-based Karp Loshak Long Term Care Insurance Solutions Brokerage (Karp Loshak LTC) founding partners, Natalie Karp and Rona Loshak have been recognized as 2015 Achievers by the Long Island Center for Business & Professional Women (LICBPW).
Karp and Loshak are award-winning longterm care insurance specialists. They are well-known for their dedication and expertise in educating the public about the importance of planning for longterm care. The pair speaks regularly to individuals, business owners and professional services firms about the longterm care landscape. Rising costs, health care advances, longer life spans and legislative initiatives greatly affect the ability of individuals to manage longterm care costs and protect their families. They have helped thousands of individuals preserve their independence and well-being. Their focus is on helping the traditional sandwich generation: Those caught between aging parents who need care and their own children.
The duo has been ranked by The American Association of Long Term Care Insurers as top professionals in New York State and the country since 2009. In 2014, Karp Loshak were selected as one of the coveted Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses.
“We’re delighted to be recognized by the Long Island Center,” the two stated. “It is one of the largest, long-standing and respected nonprofit networking organizations for businesswomen island-wide. And we’re pleased to be part of an amazing group of achievers selected by the Long Island Center for the critical role they play inspiring women.”
“We’re proud to honor Natalie Karp and Rona Loshak as Achievers for 2015,” said Anita Marco, president of LICBPW. “They now stand among the ranks of past achievers, Chief Justice Sandra Day O’Conner, astronaut Sally Ride and designer Donna Karan.”
The eight 2015 achievers were honored at the annual gala at the Fox Hollow on May 6.
