The grand opening celebration of Blue Moon Project took place on Friday, July 31. The owners of the fitness, wellness, beauty and meditation center, Helen Leib and Michele Arnold, arranged for food trucks, drinks and more for the festive opening. Local officials and representatives from the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Port Washington BID attended the ribbon cutting. The day coincided with an actual blue moon, which occurs when there is a second full moon in one month.
