Fabulous Summer For Oyster Bay Girls Lacrosse

This summer was a great one for the FLG Select Girls. FLG 2016-17 team member Lauren Orlowski was a force offensively throughout the summer season. This team fought hard in the hot summer sun and left it all on the field every single game.

Maggie Frankel was a critical player on the 2018 Select Team. Frankel controlled the ball on both ends of the field and was irreplaceable in the midfield.

“We played in front of tons of college scouts and these girls really stepped up and made some waves,” said director and coach Robyn Pastuch. “Coaches are already contacting me. I am excited to see what’s to come from these girls.”

The 2019 FLG Select team was filled with talent from the Oyster Bay area. Kaitlin Pellechia, Catherine McCauliffe, Kathryn Woodstock, Harley Aquilino, Molly O’Hara and Julianna Paniccia were all crucial elements to the success of their team this summer season, leading to a tournament championship at the LI Laxfest.

“These girls are fun to watch, they work hard on and off the field and I can’t wait to see what the future brings of them,” said Pastuch. “We are very proud of these girls and look forward to watching them grow on and off the fields for years to come.”
