On Sunday, Aug. 23 at 8 p.m., the famed international Iranian singing star, Hengameh will perform at North Hempstead Beach Park.
The concert is expected to attract an enthusiastic crowd. Town officials said admission is free and there will be no parking fee after 5 p.m.
To prepare for the concert, town officials have also made free bus transportation to the concert available. Buses will leave from both Roslyn and Great Neck. Residents are advised to call 311 to reserve a seat. On the evening of the concert, buses will depart from the following locations:
• Mashadi Temple, 54 Steamboat Rd., Great Neck : 6:45 p.m.
• Ahavat Shalom, 130 Cuttermill Rd., Great Neck: 6:45 p.m.
• Great Neck House, 14 Arrandale Ave., Great Neck: 7:05 p.m.
• Roslyn LIRR Station, Lincoln Avenue & Station Plaza, Roslyn: 7:30 p.m.
Hengameh’s debut album “Baray-e Didan-e To,” has reached millions around the world. Her second release “Artesh-e Solh” opened a new chapter in Hengameh’s singing career.
