The North Shore Kiwanis Club is sponsoring the Roslyn Warriors Aktion Club, a club made up of mentally challenged adults who want to give back and serve the community. The Aktion Club members work hand-in-hand with the Kiwanis Club on joint projects throughout the year . The Aktion Club Charter was made official on May 9, 2009, and the Aktion Club annually attends the Kiwanis meeting to celebrate this milestone and are congratulated for dedicated service.
The Roslyn Warriors were also selected by Kiwanis International as an Honors Club, fulfilling all the requirements to hold that title. Pictured is the K-Family with smiles galore in action for service.
