Hundreds will participate in the fifth annual LI2 Day Hope Runs Here 5K Run/Walk for Breast Cancer at Westfield Sunrise on Saturday, August 15th. The eve
nt honors Bonnie Levine, of Dix Hills, Long Island, who passed away at the young age of 36 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Each year, Westfield Sunrise provides space for this important event.
Awards will be given to top male (overall), top female (overall), top male and top female masters division, top male and top female wheelchair division, breast cancer survivors (top three overall), and top three males and top three females in their respective age groups. People of all ages are invited, and breast cancer su
rvivors will be recognized.
Participants can register for $20 online or for $25 on the day of the race. Check in and/or register 7 to 8:15 a.m. The race begins promptly at 8:30 a.m.
