Persian musician Hengameh performed a free concert at North Hempstead Beach Park in Port Washington on Aug. 23. Thousands of attendees enjoyed an evening on the beach listening to Hengameh perform her musical hits, including selections from her debut album Baray-e Didan-e To.
This is the third year the Town of North Hempstead’s (TONH) summer concert series has featured a Persian singer. Last year, pop singer Pouya performed, preceded in 2013 by R&B singer Kamy R. The performance was sponsored by the TONH in partnership with the Great Neck Park District.
