The Manhasset Rotary Club will hold the 15th annual Manhasset Children’s Circus on Thursday, Sept. 24, at Munsey Park Elementary School field located at One Hunt Lane in Munsey Park. Please note, this is a new location. There will be two shows, one at 4:45 and another at 6:45 p.m.
The Manhasset Rotary put together this special event for the children of Manhasset after the tragedy of Sept. 11 in 2001. It was an absolute success and has been entertaining the children of Manhasset ever since.
The circus is free for children grade six and under. Adult tickets and tickets for children in grades seven and above can be purchased in advance at these Manhasset locations: Citibank, 66 Bayview Ave.; Douglas Elliman Real Estate, 154 Plandome Rd.; Coldwell Banker Realtors, 600 Plandome Rd.; Daniel Gale/Sotheby’s International Realty, 364 Plandome Rd.; State Farm Insurance, 22 Bayview Ave.; and Manhasset Hand Wash Center, 201 East Shore Rd.
In Port Washington, locations include Tori’s Place at 10 Willowdale Ave. and Astoria Bank at 110 Main St. In Great Neck, the location is Great Neck Fitness at 200 Middle Neck Rd.
Tickets are $10 each when purchased in advance and $15 when purchased at the gate. It is advisable to purchase tickets in advance. Tickets will be available at the above locations starting on Monday, Sept. 9. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
The circus is made possible mostly by the generosity of its many sponsors and donors. Join them by attending this joyous event for the children of Manhasset.
