A Bridgehampton man was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison without the possibility of parole for gunning down a 19-year-old Mastic man on Christmas morning two years ago.

Brandon Davis was convicted of first-degree murder at Suffolk County Court in August.

Prosecutors said the gunman, who turned 21 on Monday, shot Taleik Bristel in the head, killing him, while robbing Whitestar MTR repair shop on Cedarhurst Avenue in Medford in 2013.

His codefendant, Cesar Figueroa, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and is expected to be sentenced to 20 years in prison on Nov. 9.
