People of all ages lined the Village of Great Neck Plaza Business Improvement District (BID) on Sunday, Oct. 4, for the 31st Annual Great Neck Plaza AutoFest and Street Festival. A good time was had by all with classic cars dating from the 1930s for viewing, a fun house and rides for the kids, and an extensive variety of food and live music.
Admission was free, but donations and registration fees were accepted to support the Wounded Warrior Project.
Business was booming for the more than 250 shops and restaurants on Middle Neck Road. For budgets big or small, attendees could go home with something.
The cars out front stole the show with everyone lined up to take pictures of more than 100 classic and special-edition automobiles. Check out some of the featured cars, including a 1934 limited-edition Rolls Royce Park Ward Saloon owned by Mark Rudes as well as lots of interesting sports cars.
