Antiques100715AThe Congregational Church of Manhasset and Flamingo Eventz are pleased to announce that the 61st Annual Manhasset Antiques & Decoratives will be held Saturday, Oct. 24, and Sunday, Oct. 25, at the church school at 1845 Northern Blvd. in Manhasset.

A benefit for the Ladies Club of the church, and acknowledged one of the longest-running antiques shows on Long Island, it is renowned for its presentation of classical antiques, China, pottery, porcelain, jewelry, silver, textiles and decorative accessories. Selected professional antiques and fine decoratives exhibitors from New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Arizona, Maine and Pennsylvania will present antiques in designed displays and individual rooms throughout the church school.

Among the exhibitors will be Steve’s Antiques from Great Neck, Barbara Stevens Collections from Manhasset and MJ Fribush from Port Washington.

Eden Antiques, Hauppauge; Steve’s Antiques, Great Neck; Treasures From The Heart, Flushing; Wendy Design, Reinholds, PA; and Worn To Perfection, Copiague.

Once again this year, the Ladies of the Church will be running a white elephant table with treasures and unique handmade crafts, homemade goodies and other surprises. A wide selection of beverages and home-made refreshments and will be available at the Ladies Club Tea Room.

Special features found only at Flamingo shows include antiques appraisals by well-known appraiser, television personality and star of Market Warriors John Bruno, on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at $5 per item. Bring only non-jewelry items for appraisal.

The show will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24 and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25. Admission is $7 per person, and under 12 free with adult. The church school is located directly opposite Americana Shopping Center. There will be plenty of free parking.

Flamingo Eventz, LLC, presents fairs, antiques shows and antiques appraisal events in the Northeast. They have more than 50 years of experience as antique dealers and more than 25 years of experience as professional event promoters. They are members of the Antiques & Collectibles National Association, and John Bruno is an antiques appraiser and television personality who most recently appeared on Market Warriors on PBS.
