At The JCC Film Festival

Sid Jacobson JCC’s 22nd Randi and Bruce Pergament Jewish Film Festival returns on Sunday, Oct. 25 at 4 p.m. for the fall and winter season with a showing of the Israeli dramedy Hill Start. The film will also be show on Thursday, Oct. 29 at 2:30 p.m.

Hill Start tells the story of the Geva family from Jerusalem. When Ora, the mother of the family goes into a coma following a car accident, her family members try to bring her back in every possible way. The film, released in 2014, is directed by Oren Shtern and is in Hebrew with subtitles.

Tickets for the Oct. 25 showing are $14 and tickets for the Oct. 29 showing are $10 and can be purchased at www.sjjcc.org.
