Massapequa Park Garden Club
Bonsai will be the subject when Bob BonGiorno addresses the club. The public is invited to learn about the care and creation of these miniature plants. Volunteers Needed
The Plainedge Public Library is looking for Plainedge School District volunteers in grades six and up for children’s crafts/activities during the 2015-16 school year. All applicants are accepted into a pool of eligible volunteers who will be called upon from time to time during the year. There will also be an opportunity to volunteer for Plainedge Public Library’s fall festival to be held on Nov. 3. Application packets are now available from the children’s services staff.
