An assault occurred at Manorhaven Village Hall, 33 Manorhaven Blvd., on Thursday, Oct. 8. According to Police Officer Maureen Roach of the Public Information Office of the Nassau County Police Dept., “On Oct. 8, at 7:17 p.m., a male victim, 55 years of age, was involved in a dispute with the defendant while inside Manorhaven Village Hall. The victim suffered a laceration as a result and was treated at a local hospital. The defendant was placed under arrest on Oct. 10 and charged with Assault 3rd degree and released. He was arraigned on Oct. 27 at First District Court in Hempstead.”
The arraignment with Judge Girardi determined the case would be continued on Dec. 16. The defendant, who served as his own attorney, was released on recognizance.
