Broadway Shows Comes To Manhasset

The production features Harmony Limoggio Lepore, a junior at St. Mary’s High School and a Manhasset resident, who is a standout in the program. Watch Lepore and the brilliant cast at one of the three performances this weekend.

Whether you are a Broadway critic or just enjoy Broadway productions, the residents of Manhasset are in for a treat this weekend. The talented children of Manhasset are performing at several venues, from Shelter Rock Elementary School Auditorium for Saturday Series to Manhasset High School and St. Mary’s High School. With the inordinate amount of talent here in Manhasset, you will think you are at a Broadway show.

Beginning Thursday, Nov. 19, through Sunday, Nov. 22, the Manhasset High School Theater presents Hello Dolly! at the Manhasset High School auditorium at 200 Memorial Place. The show is based on lyrics and music by Jerry Herman and the book by Michael Stewart. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Sunday matinée is at 2 p.m. Tickets are available online for $15 at www.manhassetschools.org.

Plays_111815COn Saturday, Nov. 21, Manhasset’s Saturday Series will perform Grease at 2 p.m. in Shelter Rock Elementary School’s auditorium at 37A Shelter Rock Rd. The show is based on Warren Casey and Jim Jacobs’ 1971 musical about lovers in a 1950s high school. Join the hip crew for this very entertaining play. The marvelous Manhasset elementary school kids will amaze you with their performance of this 50s classic.

The fun continues at St. Mary’s High School Immaculata Hall at 1300 Northern Blvd. (behind St. Mary’s Elementary School).

Plays_111815ASt. Mary’s High School Fine and Performing Arts Program and The Josephine Foundation proudly present Steppin’ Out on Broadway featuring your favorite stage hits of all time. With three showstopping performances, watch the cast delight audiences on the Immaculata Auditorium stage.

VIP reserved seating is available this year for $20 per ticket. No lines, no waiting for your special seats. All other tickets are $10 each for general admission.
