This year the villages of Munsey Park, Flower Hill and Plandome are all participating in Light The Night, which is scheduled to occur on Sunday, Dec. 6. Kits are available for sale in each village.
Munsey Park
Kits are available for purchase and pick up on Saturday, Nov. 21, and Sunday, Nov. 22, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Waldmann/Polliwog Pond (at Remington Road and Park Avenue).
Kits will also be available for purchase at the Munsey Park Women’s Club Shop Around the Block event on Wednesday, Dec. 2.
Plandome
Kits can be purchased Saturday, Nov. 28, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Brookside Drive side of the Village Green between South and Plandome Drives.
Flower Hill
Residents can purchase Light the Night kits one of three ways:
(a) Friday, Nov. 20, kits may be purchased at Village Hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
(b) Tuesday, Dec. 1, kits may be purchased at Village Hall from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
(c) mail-in the form that was sent via mail. The kits will be delivered right to your door by your block captain the week of Nov. 30.
