Schreiber High School varsity swimmers swam in the Nassau County Championships this past weekend, placing 5th out of 28 teams, their highest ranking ever. Senior Captains Delia Rush and Ashley Ye joined sophomores Annabelle Corcoran, Molly McLoughlin and Anna Thompson to qualify for the New York State Swimming Championships being held at Ithaca College on Nov. 20 to 21.
The varsity team as a whole won the Sportsmanship Award at the Nassau County Championships as well.
