Santa Claus At Westfield Mall
Today is the last day to see Santa at Westfield Sunrise before he heads back to the North Pole to deliver present for Christmas. Mr. Claus will be available for meet-and-greets and photo opportunities. Santa will be located at the lower level Macy’s Court at Sunrise Mall. Movie: Ricki and the Flash
The Bar Harbour auditorium will host a 1:30 and 6:30 p.m. screening of the movie Ricki and the Flash. It’s been a roller-coaster ride for Ricki (Meryl Streep), a one-time wife and mother of three who left her family behind to follow her dreams of rock ‘n’ roll stardom. Now, the singer and guitarist must face the music when she returns home to Indiana to reconnect with ex-husband Pete (Kevin Kline), troubled daughter Julie, engaged son Josh and younger son, Adam. Filled with regret, Ricki hopes to find redemption for all of the bad choices that she made in the past. Starring Meryl Streep and Kevin Kline (2015; PG-13, 1 hr 40 mins).

The Plainedge Public Library is looking for Plainedge School District volunteers in grades six and up for children’s crafts/activities during the 2015-16 school year. All applicants are accepted into a pool of eligible volunteers who will be called upon from time to time during the year. Application packets are now available from the children’s services staff.
