A 36-year-old man died the day after he crashed his car in Valley Stream this week.
Nassau County police said David Jensen, of East Northport, died Wednesday at North Well Hospital in Manhasset.
Jensen was driving his Nissan Altima on Sunrise Highway when he lost control of his car, crossed an grass median and struck a Hyundai Elantra, which then hit a Nissan Pathfinder at 6:35 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
The women driving the other two vehicles were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Homicide Squad detectives impounded the vehicles and are continuing the investigation.
