Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE), in partnership with the YAI Network, Life’s WORC, and ACLD, will be hosting their annual Community Partnership Forum and Talent Connection Job Expo for veterans and adults with different abilities at Farmingdale State College’s Roosevelt Hall from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 29.

The expo is the largest of its kind in the area, and will offer veterans and adults with autism and different abilities an opportunity to discuss their skills and abilities with recruiters from key businesses on Long Island. This event will be a great opportunity for individuals to become familiar with potential employers as well as learn valuable information at our employment workshops.

The day will commence with an open forum of community leaders, followed by workshops which include: “Tax Credits for Businesses,” “Veterans’ Employment Issues,” “You’re Hired! How to Keep a Job,” and “Employment and Your Benefits,” and a Job Expo with hundreds of potential job candidates.

Employers from across Long Island will be seeking candidates for positions including entry and middle management level, hospitality and food service industries, and clerical staffing.

Farmingdale State College is located at 2350 Broadhollow Rd., Farmingdale. Call 516-870-7000.
