Sid Jacobson JCC’s Community Players present The Drowsy Chaperone on Saturday, Jan. 30, at 8 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 31, at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 7, at 2 p.m. This Tony Award-winning musical tells the story of a theatre fan who plays his favorite cast record and watches as the characters come to life in this musical comedy.

“After seeing the original Broadway production in 2006 starring Sutton Foster, I couldn’t wait for the chance to produce this clever and funny musical,” said Producer and Sid Jacobson JCC’s Theatre Arts Director Susan Kalman.
Port Washington resident Kym Wilner will be performing in The Drowsy Chaperone.
