Special For Those Born On Leap Year

GoKartPole Position Raceway, America’s leading chain of state-of-the-art indoor motorsports entertainment facilities – among the fastest karts on the east coast – announced that it will celebrate leaplings by offering one FREE race to anyone born on February 29.

Leaplings are forced to celebrate their birthday on a different day. To soften that blow, on Monday, February 29, Pole Position Raceway invites those born on Leap Day to enjoy a FREE race to celebrate their actual birthday. Valid form of ID is required at the time of redemption and cannot be combined with any other offer. Valid on February 29, 2016 only. Void where prohibited. Participating Pole Position Raceway locations include Jersey City, NJ, Buffalo, Syracuse, Rochester and Farmingdale, NY.

“We are excited to help leaplings celebrate the day they so patiently wait for, their actual birthday,” said Karen Davis-Farage, president and co-owner of the Pole Position Raceway venues in the East. “On Monday, February 29, we’re happy to provide one free race to those born on Leap Day. At Pole Position Raceway, we ensure that every special event celebrated with us is one to remember. Since leaplings only get the opportunity to celebrate their actual birthday every four years, we wanted to go the extra mile and host them for a free race to ensure it is one that they never forget.”

Because Leap Day is celebrated on a Monday, those who race at Pole Position Raceway’s Jersey City and Farmingdale locations will be able to redeem their free race on its Super G tracks, which combines its two quarter-mile tracks into one half-mile track of thrilling racing action.

One of the fastest growing forms of recreation in the country, Pole Position Raceway offers a variety of options to suit the needs of all racers – from families, to die hard karting enthusiasts.  Its “Arrive & Drive” racing is for those that enter a queue to race against others.  Pre-Scheduled Racing events are for groups of 10+ and include the Pole Position Challenge, Grand Prix or Super Pole which are 2, 3 or 4 race events culminating with racers receiving 1st, 2nd & 3rd place medals at the Winners’ Circle.  In addition to side-by-side race action, Pole Position Raceway also features authentic racing memorabilia, arcade games, concessions and V.I.P spaces for private parties, personal celebrations, corporate events and fundraisers.
