Plainedge Middle School’s Robotics team recently competed in the F.I.R.S.T. NYC/LI FIRST Tech Challenge Syosset Qualifier. 
As the only middle school competing against 21 high school teams, the Plainedge Dragons Team 7662 placed 11th in the competition and received the FIRST Tech Challenge Motivate Award.
The team is led by advisor Jonathan Kowalik and co-advisor Doug Birkal.
