Applications are now available for the 2016 Polish American Museum Founders Scholarship upon request. The scholarship of $500 is offered to a graduating high school student of Polish heritage who is a citizen of the U.S. and lives in Nassau or Suffolk county. The student must be entering college in the fall of 2016.
The scholarship was established on the occasion of the museum’s 30th anniversary in memory of its founders.
The museum continues to serve the Long Island community
with a variety of exhibits portraying the contributions of the Poles,
their heroic deeds and fight for
freedom. During the year, informative lectures and music programs
are held.
