The Art Guild invites all artists to submit artworks for consideration for Line: Through Thick & Thin, a juried competition and exhibition on view from April 9 to May 15.
Line is one of the basic elements in art—descriptive, implied or abstract, bold, soft, elegant or jagged. A line defines the curve of a hip. The lines on the highway define a journey. This exhibit is open to artworks in which the line is a dominant component.
The Juror-of-Awards is Antonio Masi. Masi is president of the American Watercolor Society and has been featured in The Artist’s Magazine, PBS’s “Sunday Arts”
and NBC-TV’s “Weekend Today in New York.”
All artists, 18 years and older (high school students may enter in the student category), are invited to submit up to three works for consideration. All styles are welcome.
