Students from Mineola, Albertson and East Williston joined with schools from all over Nassau County to participate in the year round Trivia Challenge event, which raised significant funds for the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County, Inc. (cpn). Now in its 31st year, the Trivia Challenge brings students with great minds and good hearts together to help raise funds to benefit the programs and services cpn provides for more than 1,800 children and adults challenged by disabilities. Students representing St. Aiden School in the seventh/eighth grade category were Liam Cooke, Sarah Guglielmo, John Paul Vulerte and Christopher Marotta.
Michelle Gevirtz, development associate at cpn thanked all the students, teachers and family members for their generosity and support. The cpn has been assisting individuals with disabilities since 1948.
Funds raised through Trivia Challenge help fund vital programs at the agency.
