Interested in having the sixth precinct reopen as a full service precinct? Contact your county legislator.
On Monday, March 21 at 1 p.m. the Nassau County Legislature has a scheduled legislative session that begins with a 30 minute public comment period. The Nassau County PBA plans to attend. 
All interested citizen should arrive between 12:15pm and 12:30pm at the Legislative Chamber (1550 Franklin Ave, Mineola).
Those wishing to speak should submit a card with their name and topic upon arrival. A short period of time is allotted for each speaker. Even if residents prefer not to speak, the recommendation is to arrive early so as to ensure you receive a pass to enter the Chamber as space is limited.
Residents spoke up about the opening of the 6th precinct last week led by Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth with fellow council members including Anna Kaplan who is running for Assemblywoman.
