St. Peter of Alcantara School held its second annual Down Syndrome Awareness Volleyball Tournament. The charity volleyball game raises awareness and money for the Down Syndrome Advocacy Foundation.
St. Peter’s Middle School students played in the tournament in St. Peter’s gymnasium while the grammar school students were the spectators.
Children could help the cause by making a donation to the Down Syndrome Advocacy Foundation. Students who made a donation also received a dress-down day.
Forty students competed in the tournament. The whole school turned out to cheer and raise money for a great cause that’s close to all of their hearts.
