People of all ages and abilities will join together on Sunday, April 17, at Sands Point Preserve for Helen’s Run/Walk 2016.

The annual 5K/3.1-mile event benefits the Helen Keller National Center for Deaf-Blind Youths & Adults in Sands Point. The Helen Keller National Center’s mission is to support those living with combined vision and hearing loss.

Former deaf-blind student Jon Gabry (above with his father at last year’s Helen’s Run/Walk) has formed a team and is the highest fundraiser so far.

Community members can support Gabry’s team, form their own or participate as an individual. Whatever way you choose, you’re sure to have a great time for a great cause. To register or for more information about Helen’s Run/Walk 2016, visit www.helenkeller.org/hknc.

Sands Point Preserve is located at 127 Middle Neck Rd. in Sands Point.
