No Music Issue At Old Westbury Hebrew Congregation

While I agree that a permit should have been obtained to construct the patio, I would have thought that responsibility would have been taken care of by the contractor. I’m surprised that the caterer nor the temple had followed up to make sure all the paperwork were in order.
However, regarding the music. I have no idea what Mr. Kang is talking about. My property abuts the temple property and I have never heard any loud music. Usually, at the time of the year the patio is being used, my windows are closed and my air conditioning is on. Maybe Mr. Kang should do the same. The number of occasions a year that the patio is used is rather minimal. The occurrences are also joyous occasions. Mr. Kang needs to be more flexible.
