The Third Squad reports the details of a robbery which occurred on Wednesday, April 13, at 8:32 p.m. in Williston Park.
According to detectives, a male white suspect, 5’ 10” to 6’ tall with a heavy set build wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with dark block lettering, dark jeans and boots with a mask over his face entered the Dunkin Donuts located at 270 Hillside Avenue armed with a knife. He approached an employee in the store and demanded he open the register.
The victim complied giving the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled on foot westbound on Hillside Avenue. There were no customers in the store at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported.
A considerable number of robberies have taken place throughout Nassau County in recent weeks.
