Church Hill Classics (CHC), a leading manufacturer and online retailer in the college diploma frame industry, recently announced the 24 finalists of its eighth annual Frame My Future Scholarship Contest.
The nationwide Frame My Future Scholarship Contest 2016, which launched in October 2015, asked students to submit an original creation expressing what they hope to achieve in their personal and professional lives after college. Using a mix of photographs, poetry, essays, collages, paintings and graphic design work, more than 4,800 students provided a creative glimpse into how they would frame the future they imagined for themselves. The scholarship contest was open to all students attending college on a full-time basis in the 2016-17 academic year.
“We received such an impressive number of imaginative and original entries that the finalist selection process proved quite challenging,” said Lucie Voves, president, founder and CEO of Church Hill Classics. “These are the voices of our future leaders, and we’re thrilled to give them a platform to showcase their vision in such a creative and inspirational way.”
Among the impressive group of Frame My Future Scholarship Contest Finalists is Anthony Morano of Massapequa Park. Morano’s passion for the arts inspired him to pursue a degree in musical theater performance at Wagner College this fall.
“Winning the Frame My Future Scholarship would be a huge honor and help pay for my education in order for me to pursue my dreams,” said Morano. “After meeting tough academic requirements and participating in hours of intense auditions, one dream has already come true—getting into Wagner College for musical theater performance.”
If he wins, Morano will receive a $1,000 scholarship. His entry is posted along with the other 23 finalists’ entries on the company’s diplomaframe.com website. A $1,000 scholarship will go to each of the five top-voted entries, and the entry receiving the most votes will also earn a matching donation of $1,000 to the college or university’s scholarship endowment fund in his or her name. The voting phase of contest runs through April 28. Vote for Morano’s entry by visiting www.diplomaframe.com/FMF2016-Morano.
