Organizers of the 29th annual Runner’s Edge Town of Oyster Bay Triathlon announced that the Bill Hannan Agency of State Farm Insurance has signed on to be a participating sponsor of the event. The triathlon will be held on Sunday, Aug. 28, starting and finishing in Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park in Oyster Bay.
“Although the triathlon attracts athletes from all over Long Island and beyond, it is at its heart a local Oyster Bay event that puts our town at the forefront of recreational sports activity,” said Greater Long Island Running Club executive director Linda Ottaviano. “We are especially happy to have an important local businessman like Bill Hannan and his State Farm Agency join in our effort this year.”
