Two teams from North Middle School and one from South Middle competed at the recent Regional FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Lego League (FLL) Tournament held in Mineola. The South team won the Team Alliance Award and advanced to the Long Island Championships held at Longwood High School.
FLL faculty advisors at North Middle are Zachary Boyt, mathematics department chair, and Stefanie Oddo, science teacher. Advisors at South Middle are technology teachers Randy Lane and Jonathan Ruvio.
