Oyster Bay Town Councilman Anthony D. Macagnone (third from left) recently attended the South Farmingdale Fire Department Installation Dinner held at Chateau La Mer in Lindenhurst. Members of the South Farmingdale Fire Department new and old swore an oath at the Installation Dinner to uphold the preservation and safety of the community that the South Farmingdale Fire Department has done and continues to do so to this day. On hand for the event with Macagnone were, from left: New York Senator Michael Venditto, Assemblyman Joseph Saladino, Nassau County Fire Commissioner James Mezey, South Farmingdale Fire Commissioner Joseph Frigeric, Chief Edward Purpora, South Farmingdale Commissioner Brian Fitzpatrick, South Farmingdale Commissioner John Boklak, Assemblyman Tom McKevitt, Nassau County Legislator James Kennedy and Nassau County Legislator Rose Walker.
