It seems timely to mention an issue that has been on my mind. Certainly it is wonderful to see spring bursting out in all of nature and to see people enjoying the out of doors. With that comes a hazard to drivers that I would like to bring to your attention. It is on Clark Boulevard in Massapequa Park where the walking path crosses. A driver’s visibility of the path is limited because of the excessive growth at the entrance to the path.
It is my hope that a clearer view could be given to the driver, walkers and runners cannot be seen until the last minute when they are ready to step down on to the road. It should not be too costly to cut back the growth to open up a better view for both drivers and walkers alike. A limited view can make for an accident waiting to happen.
It would seem to be a worthwhile solution to a dangerous situation.
